Little Darkling the Foosa by arcticfox812 Little Darkling the Foosa by arcticfox812
I will be re-uploading a better quality picture of this, but for now this is my entry for [link]
Little Darkling is a Foosa, she was orphaned around the age she would have been weaned (not entirely sure exact ages, but neither is she) and has been living on her own ever since. She is small for a foosa, barely coming up to most females' shoulder, but she uses her small size as an advantage. She lives in a small air duct between two tigers' territories, both know she is there, but neither of the tigers can fit into her home, and she is very careful when she comes out. She is about two years old, best as she can guess, and doesn't know much about how most foosa live, although she has learned very well what it takes for her to live. She is very dark in color, most who catch a glimpse of her think she is completely black, but that's not quite true. In the light you can catch a hint of brown in her fur, but good luck catching her in the light. Her name was actually the nickname her parents gave her, they had a real name picked for her, but were going to name her when she made her first kill. As it stands, she keeps the nickname, although she is the only creature who knows it to date. She has a great fear of water, as she almost drowned a couple of days after her parents were killed, when she lost her balance at the edge of the water. She doesn't know what killed her parents, other than it looked huge to her small eyes.

I loved the backstory for your character. It's a bit, but also hopeful. She would make a wonderful character in a comic especially, since her design isn't so complicated that it's a pain to draw more than once, and she has such a deep and interesting story and personality. :)

Thank you ^_^ I had a little more backstory in mind when I wrote that, but wasn't sure how much was desired so I tried to keep it short and sweet, I can add it to the artist comments if you want it, or if it's easier to use what comes to your mind, I won't mind
